Raisina Hill - Wikipedia
Raisina Hill

Once the soup is finished, a red light signals to pick up the soup bowl and spoon, now it's the turn of the starter... As soon as the green light turns on, the starter dishes start being served. This includes traditional Indian starters like Palak Papadi Chaat, Dahi Aloo Tikki, Moong Dal based pizza,Gujarati Khaman Dhokla which we eat in street food, but all of these are served in a royal style. The next stage is the main meal, in which one dish is invariably dal Raisina (the hill on which the President's residence is built is Raisina Hill).

The President's chef: What it is like to cook for India's first citizen
Chef Machindra kasture

It was invented by an executive chef named Machindra Kasture. Black gram and kidney beans are soaked overnight and washed and drained in the morning. It is cooked on low heat for about 8 hours with a variety of spices, tomato cream, saffron, and kasoori methi. During this time, the chef keeps a constant eye on it.The main meal includes dal raisin, fig malai kofta, sabz bawli handi, dum guchhi matar made with expensive daat mushroom, raita, roti, naan, paratha, methi kulcha, etc. After this, the third round comes dessert (sweets). It includes pineapple halwa, custard apple halwa, rabdi jalebi, rabdi roll cake, apple pie (foreign dessert). One or two of these sweets are used to sweeten the taste buds. Finally, the feast is concluded with tea, coffee or Kashmiri coffee. Our food diplomacy is preserved when the dignitary  belches with satisfaction!!! Articles and pictures describing this feast are published in newspapers, magazines and news channels. and two sentences should definitely be written about the kitchen of Rashtrapati Bhavan and its chefs. Such writing really takes India's food diplomacy to greater heights. In this way,the reception held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan creates moments of relaxation and heartfelt conversation between the heads of two countries, which is a part of food diplomacy!!!!

Outgoing Union Council of Ministers attended a farewell dinner at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, hosted by the President of India

Union Council of Ministers attended a farewell dinner at the Rashtrapati Bhawan,

While various dishes are being prepared in the kitchen, the staff of the palace are busy preparing the food in the royal dining room called the Banquet Hall (a hall for organizing dinners for large groups). The banquet hall is 104 feet long and 34 feet wide, decorated with gleaming marble floors, wooden panels, chandeliers and artistic carpets. It's like a royal palace!!!!The arrangement of glass plates, knives, spoons, glasses, and napkins in a specific row, depicting the Indian national emblem and the words Rashtrapati Bhavan, is truly impressive. The flowers in the vase must have come from the Mughal Garden!!! A small red rose is placed in a glass vase in front of the glass plate of the guests who are going to have vegetarian food. For the waiter, a rose flower is a sign that non-veg items should not be served here. There should be a menu card next to it with a description of all the dishes.

The hall should be decorated in such a way that it makes you want to take pictures!!!While all the preparations for the banquet are being made, the President first says a few words in welcome to his distinguished guest and then the guest also thanks the President with a few words, with this the banquet officially begins!!!Rashtrapati Bhavan is a symbol of India's discipline, culture, and dignity, so the entire occasion should be celebrated with all due respect. If verbal orders are given to guests about which dish to serve and when, there will be a lot of noise, so three lights are arranged in the banquet hall: blue, green, and red. To bring a new dish into the dining room, the head waiter, also known as the head butler, presses the blue light button. If the dish is to be served, the green light flashes. Once the guests have finished eating, they simply press the red light button to lift the empty plate. This is done in such a way that there is no inconvenience. It takes about eight minutes to cover the distance from the ground floor to the banquet hall. It is natural for the dish to cool down during this time,so it should be heated slightly on the stove, and only then served. at the start of the meal, as soon as the head butler signals the green light, a team of senior butlers will serve soup to the guests in a disciplined manner. Keep the soup so watery and tasty that it will make you hungry!! (to be cont...)
