 In an exclusive program of NDTV, when the Bhavan's senior cook Sanjay Kumar was asked by its journalist about the food of choice of the President Draupadi Murmur, he said that - Her Majesty likes to eat very sattvic, vegetarian food without onion and garlic.Mainly vegetables and fruits are included in her menu. She likes very simple food. She also has her own favourite items like rice chilla and some dishes from Odisha-- She likes santula with lentils etc.Since dignitaries coming from abroad mostly eat non-veg food, such dishes have to be served in their meals!!! The raw material for this is obtained from the authorized vendor of Delhi Municipal Corporation,Only after government doctors and officials ensure its quality,then after it will be allowed into the kitchen of Rashtrapati Bhavan!!!!

      Kitchens usually have gas stoves, which have a brown flame -- the limitation of this type of stove is that the heat it generates heats the container in the middle, the heat is not uniform, so the food is not cooked evenly.Considering this limitation, instead of a traditional stove, this kitchen has a ceramic circular plate with a number of burners arranged like a fountain nozzle underneath it, All items used in the kitchen, such as vegetables, non-veg spices,go to the Bhavan kitchen only after strict security through the National AgriculturalCooperative Marketing Federation of India. Security measures are taken to check the possibility of adulteration or poisoning of food ingredients, under which all the cooks, head chefs, and members of the Special Protection Group (SPG Commando) of the building taste and check each dish!!!!Now it's time to serve, and that too in royal style...(to be cont......)
